Construction
Safety Signage
On a construction site there are a number of mandated and best practice signs which are required when participating in high-risk works. To produce these signs, people typically laminated A3 or A4 signage. Now, our clients are producing these signs straight out of their printer and putting them onto their sites.
Evacuation Signage
There’s a legal requirement to have evacuation signage displayed throughout a construction site. There are a number of legal requirements about the size (A4 +) and requirements as to what goes on the sign. The issue construction sites have is that the details on evacuation signage constantly changes. Every time there’s a change, all your evacuation signage must change. This could lead to the laminating of hundreds or thousands of evacuation signs depending on the job.

QR Codes, Quality and Construction Signage
News to us but not uncommon signs to produce, PaperCoat has been used to create;
- QR Code Posters: Traditionally laminated QR Code posters were a pain to manage. Similar to the evacuation signage, if the QR code was changed, then all the signs had to be redone.
- Quality Signage: Similar to safety signs, there are a number of quality procedures which require documentation in the building. Traditionally this included floor layouts and diagrams. These signs weren’t always laminated but had to be stuck onto a window. Thanks to the adhesive layer on PaperCoat, our product can be applied on any surface without doing any damage to the surface.
Schools
Wayfinding and advertising for events
A number of schools use PaperCoat to produce signage for their school events. These signs are perfect for events as they’re;
- Quick to produce (require no laminating)
- Recyclable (eliminates laminated paper waste)
- Signs can be used outdoors and indoors
Schools have also used to signs for way finding for events. PaperCoat is a great way to produce temporary signs for your schools events.
Class materials
A number of teachers have jumped onboard PaperCoat using the product to produce class materials. Teachers love the fact they no longer need to laminate and that the product is tear proof, ensuring that little fingers don’t ruin their materials!
